We were waiting a little for the map but it was worth. We ordered only with rivers and lakes but not with mountains and it looks great.
The XL Prime+ LED multi colored map is an absolute show piece. It’s stunning, with or without the lights on. My wife and I installed it and we couldn’t be more pleased. It cost a bit, but there’s no denying the quality, it’s worth every penny. Alex was amazing, he quickly responded to my emails and my special request for a custom Gulf of America appliqué. Recommend that Enjoy The Wood have an option to select the manner in which the map will be mounted, either in concrete or drywall. My map came with concrete wall anchors, so installation was delayed while I located some drywall anchors. But overall, it’s a 10 out of 10.
A beautiful addition to our upstairs hallway. Got the XL size and it fits nicely in the space. Could have used better instructions for using the wall anchors, but overall installation was pretty easy.
Die Montage benötigt etwas Zeit, finde aber das Ergebnis lässt sich sehen. Bei Südamerika und Grönland fände ich eine zweite Schraube gut um das wegkippen zu vermeiden. Im höheren Preissegment, lässt sich aber auch an der Qualität und Verarbeitung wiedersehen. Zufrieden würde ich wiederkaufen.

Will the Map stick to the wall which is not perfectly smooth and even (i.e. roughcast or wallpaper)?
Yes, it will. It depends on the type and height of the wall surface layer though. The smoother, the better.
How long does it actually take to install the Map?
The installation process takes several hours. It’s a fun project to do as a group, if you wish.
Are there any tips to help with the installation?
Hold off on opening your box with the Map for 2-3 hours upon bringing it home, to give it some time to adapt to your home temperature. After opening the box, follow the instructions included and watch the video guides. Please note that to separate the islands, one should gently press on each piece, from top to bottom, until it comes out, to avoid chipping.
