How the Wooden Map Customizer Works
This guide explains how you can design your own wooden map using our online customizer.
Please note: this is just a guide to show you the features of customizer. The actual customizer tool is located at the top of the page under the CUSTOMIZE button.
In our example, you’ll see how changing the sizes, styles, and colors for each area of the map works, as well as how to adjust the color of rivers, text, and more.
All your changes will appear instantly in the preview window, so you can see your unique design before ordering.
Step 1 - MAP SIZES
Medium Size
Are you decorating an extra small space? In that case, our medium maps fit best. The M size (24 x 39 in / 60 x 100 cm) is a compact and charming option for entryways, desks, or cozy nooks. Looking for a thoughtful gift? The M-size map rocks! It’s a nice minimalist accent in smaller rooms or apartments.

Versatile and balanced, these maps are 35 x 59 in / 90 x 150 cm. This size makes them a great fit for the space above sofas, beds, or dining tables. A great mid-sized décor for mid-sized spaces. The map adds personality without overwhelming your place!

Will the Map stick to the wall which is not perfectly smooth and even (i.e. roughcast or wallpaper)?
Yes, it will. It depends on the type and height of the wall surface layer though. The smoother, the better.
How long does it actually take to install the Map?
The installation process takes several hours. It’s a fun project to do as a group, if you wish.
Are there any tips to help with the installation?
Hold off on opening your box with the Map for 2-3 hours upon bringing it home, to give it some time to adapt to your home temperature. After opening the box, follow the instructions included and watch the video guides. Please note that to separate the islands, one should gently press on each piece, from top to bottom, until it comes out, to avoid chipping.
