I changed my entire home office around to accommodate this map. I was so surprised that it was as beautiful as I saw in the advertisement. We had a great time putting it up and the ease of it was masterful. I did have a few continents that were slightly damaged but I had most of the map on the wall and it was too late to fix it. Other than that, it’s pretty cool.

Beautiful map! We love to track our vacations and wanted a cool art piece for our kids to do so. We purchased an XL multi colored map with the islands and the flag pins. I wanted a more finished look so I painted the back ground Sherwin Williams Iron Ore then placed a trim board stained walnut. We love how it turned out. Installation was a breeze with the map that was included. It took time, but our kids loved helping. Today we are adding our flags!

I love this map. We had it for 2 years now and it still looks like new. We moved it from one apartment to another and the map was not damaged at all. Really good quality and we made our friends buy one as well. We have 3 family friends who have different models and they all love it.

The puzzle map was good and you can tell its of high quality solid wood. I really liked the app where I could try it out and see what size and color scheme I wanted. I'm glad I used the app because I was going to get the XXL, but in the app, the XL size was the better fit. The XXL would have been too big and the urban theme matched better with my wall, even though blue is my favorite color. It did take about 4 hours to put together, but that was to be expected, and it feel like 4 hours because we had so much fun putting it together. I liked the pins and I enjoyed pinning all the places that I have gone on the map. My husband, who is from Trinidad and very crafty added Trinidad and Tobago on the map using scrap wood from the island punch outs. These maps were recommended by a travel YouTube influencer and would definitely recommend these maps to my traveling buddies.

Will the Map stick to the wall which is not perfectly smooth and even (i.e. roughcast or wallpaper)?
Yes, it will. It depends on the type and height of the wall surface layer though. The smoother, the better.
How long does it actually take to install the Map?
The installation process takes several hours. It’s a fun project to do as a group, if you wish.
Are there any tips to help with the installation?
Hold off on opening your box with the Map for 2-3 hours upon bringing it home, to give it some time to adapt to your home temperature. After opening the box, follow the instructions included and watch the video guides. Please note that to separate the islands, one should gently press on each piece, from top to bottom, until it comes out, to avoid chipping.
