Somos Enjoy The Wood, creadores ucranianos de Mapas Mundiales de Madera. Desde 2014, creamos productos inspiradores y significativos para hogares, oficinas y vidas. Teníamos hermosas oficinas y plantas de fabricación en Irpin, Bucha y Borodyanka, encantadores pueblos verdes cerca de Kiev. Ahora que Rusia ha liderado un brutal ataque contra Ucrania durante tres meses consecutivos, estas tres localidades, así como muchas otras ciudades y pequeños pueblos ucranianos, han quedado en ruinas. La infraestructura está destruida. La muerte y la miseria nos han azotado. Muchos miembros del equipo lograron mudarse y se convirtieron en desplazados internos o refugiados en otros países. Algunos se quedaron. Se desconoce su destino.
Sin embargo, nuestro espíritu permanece inquebrantable. No nos rendiremos. Desde los primeros días de la guerra, nuestro fundador, Igor Fostenko, ha liderado las labores de socorro en Irpin, donde él y su familia de cinco miembros vivían. Compró un vehículo blindado y lo donó a la ciudad, además de chalecos antibalas para los defensores y suministros para los residentes necesitados. Como empresa, hemos estado recaudando fondos y apoyándonos mutuamente y a nuestras familias. No hemos parado de trabajar ni un solo día.
Enjoy The Wood acaba de completar otra exitosa campaña de Kickstarter, la séptima en nuestra corta historia, y ha recaudado más de 160.000 USD para reanudar la producción. Para asegurarnos un futuro. Para recuperar empleos. Para apoyar la economía de Ucrania. Gracias a los más de 1.000 patrocinadores que creyeron en nosotros. El equipo se ha reunido periódicamente en las nuevas oficinas de Uzhgorod, en el oeste de Ucrania. Se ha entregado todo el equipo y la producción avanza a toda marcha.
Una parte de todas las ventas que realizamos y esperamos realizar se destina a apoyar a las Fuerzas Armadas de Ucrania y a la gente de las ciudades sitiadas.

We love our map and since we put it up have had two friends order one. I bought one for a grandson on your recent kickstarter campaign and he is anxiously waiting for it. We have been flying the Ukrainian flag in our yard and have had many comments of support for Ukrainian. Keep up the good work and May God bless.
