We have been looking for a piece of art for over a year and decided on a framed world map. During my search we noticed the “Enjoy the Wood” website and this, by far, was the much better option. Since we have always been avid travelers, we also purchased the flag pins. My father-in-law was so impressed with the piece he also wanted one of his own since he has traveled extensively.
The family that started this business is from Ukraine and little did we know that several months later we would be thinking how glad we were that we supported this family and have concerns for their safety.
This is not only the most beautiful piece of art in our home, it’s the most important.

It is fun to mark the pins of the places we have traveled! We got the large size map and there are some places on the map that we could not fit pins in because they are too close together (New England U.S. states). The pins themselves are nice- some of the flags are not entirely centered on the pin head and had a little bit of the cardboard from the box stuck to it- but overall, we are happy with them!

I ordered the flag pins to go with the wooden wall map we have hanging in the kitchen. They really make a difference and it looks awesome! I love that we can pin all the places we have visited with the actual country flags.

I was overall disappointed with the flag push pins. They look like a fairly sloppy DIY project. Many of the flags are pealing slightly so that the edges are not flush. Others are printed off center. Kansas, for instance, is cut such that the s is partially cut off. Still other flags were applied off center so that part of the thump tack is visible. Additionally, the packaging was dented upon arrival, which by itself isn't a big deal, but just added to the overall bad impression. Probably would be worth spending ~ $10 but definitely not worth $50.

For the small version of the map the space for the flags is very limited, specially in Europe.
Also, don’t understand why we have all the states flags but not the actual country’s flag ( ie Australi)

I like these pins, I just wish there were separate pins for the UK (Scotland, NI, Wales, etc.) especially since there are holes for all but NI. In some places (like the US Northeast) the holes are too small together to fit more than one pin.
Otherwise, they look nice, fit nice, and look good on the map.

I thought for the price that the pins would have a better quality... the flags are just glued to a regular pin, and I've had a lot of flags falling off the pin so I've had to re-glued them.... they are OK, but for the price I thought it would be a better quality

The pins are very nice, and good quality. I've purchased them for the L sized map. They really add some extra for the map, however there are some areas, where the pins stand quite dense, for example in Europe, or the east coast of the US.
The map has holes, where the pins fit, so you dont have to punch them into the wood.
